Questions

Temporary Fencing FAQs

What contractors, site managers and event organizers ask us most.

About $3.50 per linear foot for six-foot galvanized chain link, plus about $225 per gate. That price is all-in: delivery, setup and removal. For example, 300 feet with two gates is roughly $1,500. Footage, gate count and ground conditions set the final number.

No rental math. You pay one price for us to deliver, install and later remove the fence.

Yes. Inside Orlando city limits, temporary event fencing needs a City permit, and the City issues it only to a bonded, City-registered contractor. All County Fence is registered, so we pull it. The application needs the property owner’s notarized signature and a site plan, projects over $2,500 also need a recorded Notice of Commencement, and the fence is inspected once it’s up.

In Orlando, a fence required under Florida Building Code Chapter 33 (Safeguards During Construction), or one tied to a demolition permit, is permitted work. Whether your site needs a fence depends on the project and the jurisdiction; we check at the quote.

Yes. Freestanding panels on weighted stands go on pavement with no digging. On soil, driven posts are usually the sturdier choice.

Yes. Mesh screening can be added to either system to cut dust and hide the work area.

Winter Park, Winter Garden, unincorporated Orange County and Seminole County set their own rules. Our Orlando fence permit guide explains how jurisdiction works, and we confirm yours at the quote.
