All County Fence is a family-owned company based in downtown Orlando that installs and replaces residential and commercial fences across Bithlo. Bithlo was once a town but was unincorporated beginning in 1977, so Orange County Zoning issues every fence permit and county code sets heights, materials and placement. Agricultural lots get more height and allow field fencing for farm use, while residential lots follow tighter limits and ban barbed wire.

Bithlo Fencing

A Bithlo Fence Contractor for Rural and Residential Lots

Bithlo sits on East Colonial Drive (SR 50) in east Orange County. It was a town until it was unincorporated, a change that began in 1977 and was finalized in 1982. Bithlo Park, home field for East Orange Babe Ruth baseball and softball, and the TV broadcast towers serving the Orlando-Daytona-Melbourne market are two familiar landmarks, and about a fifth of the area counted as rural in the 2020 census.

Lots range from homesites to semi-rural parcels, and fence plans vary with them. As a fence company in Bithlo, FL, we start with your parcel’s zoning, since agricultural and residential districts follow different rules, then handle the county permit and set every post in concrete.

  • Parcel zoning confirmed up front
  • Orange County permit handled for you
  • Old fence removal and haul-away
  • Chain link to vinyl privacy

Bithlo Fence Rules

What to Know Before Installing a Fence in Bithlo

Permits, HOAs and property lines catch a lot of homeowners out here. We sort them out before the first post goes in.

Permit for every fence

Orange County requires a Zoning fence permit for new fences and for repair or restoration, on rural parcels too. Masonry walls and concrete columns need a Building Permit instead. We handle the permit and the site plan it needs.

Heights follow zoning

Residential lots allow 4 ft in the front yard setback and 8 ft on side and rear lines. Agricultural and R-CE lots allow 6 ft in front and 8 ft on the sides and rear, or up to 10 ft on agriculturally zoned property.

Barbed wire limits

Barbed, razor and electric fences are prohibited in residential and office districts, as are spikes, nails or broken glass. On agricultural land, barbed wire and field fencing are allowed for farm uses such as groves and keeping animals.

HOA or deed restrictions

Not every Bithlo property has an HOA, but check your deed for restrictions. If there is an association, we supply the drawings and specs it asks for. Either way, the county permit is required.

Pool barrier code

Pool barriers must be at least 48 inches tall, with self-closing, self-latching gates that open away from the pool. Florida law also addresses structures near the barrier that a child could use to climb over it.

Vacant land and property lines

A fence on a vacant parcel must be less than 50% opaque, construction fences aside. Every fence must sit on or within your property lines, so on a larger lot without clear markers, a current survey comes first.

Pricing

How Much Does a Fence Cost in Bithlo?

Every yard is different, so every quote is itemized. These move the price most:

Length & height

Linear footage is the biggest driver, then height. Taller fences need more material and deeper posts.

Material & style

Chain link is the most economical; wood, vinyl and aluminum vary by style and finish.

Gates

Walk gates, double drive gates and pool-code hardware each add to the quote.

Removal & site access

Tearing out an old fence, tight side yards and slopes all affect labor.

Permits & HOA

Permit fees and HOA design rules are built into your written quote.

Questions

Bithlo Fence Questions

The questions Bithlo homeowners ask us most about permits, HOAs and scheduling.

Do I need a permit to install a fence in Bithlo?

Yes. Bithlo is unincorporated Orange County, and the county requires a Zoning fence permit for every new fence and for repair or restoration, whatever the lot size. Applications go through the county’s Fast Track system with a dimensioned site plan or survey, and a permit expires 180 days after approval. We handle the permit.

Is Bithlo its own town?

Not anymore. Bithlo was a town until it was unincorporated beginning in 1977, a change finalized in 1982. Today it is a census-designated place in unincorporated Orange County, so the county issues fence permits and its code sets the rules, whatever your mailing address says.

Can I put barbed wire on my Bithlo fence?

Only on agriculturally zoned land used for agriculture, such as groves or keeping animals, where barbed wire and field fencing are allowed. In residential and office districts, barbed wire, razor wire and electric fences are not allowed, apart from narrow exceptions for public utilities and some lines shared with commercial or industrial zoning.

Do I need HOA approval for a fence in Bithlo?

Only if your property is covered by an HOA or deed restrictions, and many rural parcels may not be. Check your deed or closing documents. If there is an association, we supply the drawings and material specs it asks for. The Orange County permit is required either way.

What fences are common on Bithlo properties?

Chain link is the practical choice for long runs, animals and big backyards, and agricultural zoning allows it taller than residential lots do. Wood and PVC vinyl privacy fences suit the area around the house, and aluminum works for pools and front yards. We match the material to how you use each part of the property.

Do you offer free fence estimates in Bithlo?

Yes, at no charge. We come out, walk the line, talk through zoning, materials and gates, and give you a written, itemized quote. Old fence removal and haul-away can be part of it. We serve Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola counties, and Bithlo is well within that area.
